Are you taking Heart Failure medicine?

You may be taking medicine for other conditions, too—maybe several different pills a day, each prescribed by a different doctor. Be sure you know what each medicine is prescribed to treat (not always as simple as it sounds).

Keep these facts in mind

-

Green Pill

Some medicines may cause side effects

If you’re having side effects or symptoms you can’t explain, get in touch with your doctor—especially if you’ve recently started taking something new.

Orange Pill

When you take a number of medicines, some may interact with others

Make sure your doctors know about every medicine you’re taking, as well as any allergies you may have.

If you have questions about your medicines, ask your doctor or nurse. Only the doctor can adjust doses or tell you to stop taking a certain pill. Never try to do that yourself.
